Pohung Chen: Real-Time Music Visualizers

Online registration is *not* required to attend this workshop. Spots will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis, so make sure to be at the workshop location at least 20 minutes before the starting time.

In this workshop you will use Unity to build real-time visualizations that take audio and music as a primary input. The first 30 minutes of the workshop will be a short presentation + tutorial. The rest of the workshop will be an interactive session of visuals/code jamming while music is playing in the background. The result of this is a collection of visualizations responding to the same music in real-time.

Intended audience: Anyone who is interested in making music visualizers.

Requirements: Basic working knowledge of Unity, C# & programming, and simple mathematics.

Tools participants should bring: Laptop computer with a relatively decent graphics card and hardware specs (any mid-high end laptop from 2013 onward should be good enough) and Unity 5.5 installed.
