What happens when the oldest artistic medium meets the newest ? A discussion on drawn spaces by two illustrators working in VR. At a time where VR images and spaces proliferate, drawing with gestures and artist hands have taken on a new meaning. How does it feel to surround yourself by drawn image ? How hand drawn textures differ from mechanical ? In which circumstances the famed « intention of the hand » shine ? Daniel Ernst is an illustrator who use drawings as an integral part of his VR creative process. Troy Duguid has built a practice of drawing in 3 dimensions in Titlbrush and recently released a whole story created with and in that new medium
