Mel Croucher is the father of British videogames. He created the first UK videogames company, the first videogame soundtrack, the first broadcast of videogames by radio, the first interactive movie, the first real-world quest, the first million user viral campaign. No wonder he looks like shit.
Emilie Reed is currently a PhD student at Abertay University, investigating exhibitions of videogames in art institutions. She recently co-curated The Blank Arcade as part of FDG-DIGRA 2016, and her writing appears in The Arcade Review and Critical Hits: An Indie Gaming Anthology.
