“Rats building the maze from which they’ll try to escape”

This is how Raymond Queneau described the members of the OuLiPo, a bunch of frenchies from the 60s who believed that creativity comes from constraints. The book written without the letter E? That’s them. That short story written in a hundred different styles? Them too. They dedicated themselves to explore the potential of literature, and among this potential, they found games.

This talk will examine the links between games and potential literature. How games have been used to make literature, how literature have been used to make games, and how we can get even further.
